Emirates will prune Seat Capacity Flights to Perth
Airline in the United Arab Emirates Emirates, plans to cut seat
capacity on the provision of flight services between Dubai and Perth or
vice versa starting in October 2014, three months after its competitors
airline Etihad Airways launches daily service from Abu Dhabi to Perth.Emirates said, for while the company will reduce capacity on one of the three daily flights from Dubai to Perth. If
the entire flight to Perth is usually served with Boeing 777-300ER
aircraft, then in the period between October 2014 to March 2015 one of
which will be operated with Boeing 777-200LR smaller capacity. Meanwhile, Boeing 777-300ER aircraft used for flights to Perth will be deployed to the other airlines who need large capacity.Boeing
777-200LR operated by Emirates is equipped with a three-class cabin
configuration, the same as that of the Boeing 777-300ER. The number of first class seats and business class both planes were also the same. It
is different lies in the number of seats in economy class, where the
Boeing 777-200LR has a number of about 100 seats less than the Boeing
777-200ER, depending on the configuration.
