Airline based in Dubai, Emirates, canceling orders 70 Airbus A350 XWB, which consists of 50 Airbus A350-900 aircraft and 20 Airbus A350-1000. Airbus has confirmed the cancellation, so now the total number of orders Airbus A350 aircraft was reduced to 742.
Airbus said the decision was a follow-up conversation with the needs of the Emirates fleet, after the largest airline in the Middle East was an order of 50 Airbus A380 superjumbo when the Dubai Airshow which took place last year. Previous Emirates is scheduled to receive the Airbus A350 began in 2019.
"Airbus and Emirates Airlines have the benefit of working relationship that has lasted a long time and airline recently reaffirmed its confidence in Airbus products, especially with the A380 and praised the benefits of the aircraft for their operations," said Airbus.
