Cooperate with OnAir, Air India will Put the Internet in Aircraft
India's
national airline, Air India, in the near future is likely to provide
Internet service on planes, especially for international flights. To install these facilities, Air India has been in talks with a number
of agencies that can provide a global provider of broadband
satellite-based Internet access.An internal company sources said Air India has been in talks with
OnAir, internet service providers based on the largest board in Geneva,
to discuss the installation of WiFi-based Internet in flight."It's only a matter of time we will provide a satellite-based broadband Internet access on our international flights. We have had discussions with several agencies and have met formally with OnAir. We will take a decision in the next few months, "said Executive

Anil Sondhi.OnAir CEO Ian Dawkins does not deny that he had met with Air India. "Basic
Internet functions such as accessing email, social media on Facebook or
Twitter, to be accessed in the cabin or cockpit has been possible with
