Zest AirAsia Aims New Flight Route to Myanmar

Zest AirAsia, AirAsia units in the Philippines, currently is looking to open new routes to Myanmar. It was revealed from the documents permit application to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAB).
In his petition to the CAB, AirAsia Zest requesting permission to serve service flights between Manila and Yangon, the commercial center and main business in Myanmar, as many as seven times a week. This means AirAsia Zest need 1,260 seats per week on the Manila-Yangon route and the same number also applies to the opposite.
A week earlier, the largest low-cost airlines in the Philippines, Cebu Pacific, along with its subsidiary, Tigerair Philippines, also asked each 1,260 seats per week for flights to Myanmar after the Philippines and Myanmar renew bilateral air transport agreement in May.
