Airline Etihad Airways has launched nonstop flights between Abu Dhabi and Zurich in Switzerland. These strengthen the position of Zurich as a hub of air transport in Europe, as well as expand its route network flying Etihad after the company already serves flights to Geneva.
"Switzerland is increasing becoming an important travel market for Etihad Airways and became a major trading partner for the United Arab Emirates," said Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer James Hogan.
On the flight to Geneva and Zurich, Etihad Airways operates Airbus A330-300 with a capacity of 231 seats, the cabin is divided into three classes, including eight first class seats, 32 business class seats and 191 economy class seats.
