China Southern Airlines will Serve Flights to Mauritius

One of China's largest airline, China Southern Airlines, reportedly will soon open flights to Mauritius. According to the Mauritian Tourism Office, the maiden flight to Mauritius will begin on 28 June.A meeting ever conducted in Mauritius in May, attended by the Ministry of Tourism and Recreation Michael Sik Yuen Mauritius, head of the China National Tourism Administration Wang Zhifa, representatives of China Southern Airlines, and a number of stakeholders from the tourism industry.During the meeting, China Southern Airlines express interest in flights to Mauritius in late June after seeing the growth of Chinese tourists traveling to Mauritius. China Southern Airlines will become the first international airline flights between Mauritius and China. Air Mauritius now has eight flights per week to China and plans to add more direct flights to Beijing next month.
